Verity Cycle is built on a simple principle: your health data belongs to you and only you. The app operates 100% offline. We have no servers, no user accounts, and no analytics. Your data never leaves your iPhone.
None. Verity Cycle does not collect, transmit, or store any data on external servers. All information you enter — cycle dates, symptoms, basal body temperature, notes — is stored exclusively on your device using Apple's Core Data framework.
Our App Store privacy label declares: "Data Not Collected." This is accurate and complete. We do not collect data linked or not linked to your identity.
All your data is stored locally on your iPhone in an encrypted Core Data database. This data is protected by your device passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID through iOS built-in data protection.
Verity Cycle offers a local backup feature that exports your data as a .veritycycle file. This file is created and saved entirely on your device. You choose where to store it (Files app, iCloud Drive, etc.). We never access or process these backup files.
Verity Cycle can optionally write cycle data to Apple Health. This feature is disabled by default and requires your explicit permission. When enabled, data is written directly to Apple HealthKit on your device. We do not read from HealthKit — we only write data that you have logged in the app. Apple's HealthKit data is protected by iOS encryption and is never accessible to us.
In-app purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not see, collect, or store any payment information, credit card numbers, or Apple ID details. For information about how Apple handles your payment data, please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Verity Cycle uses zero third-party SDKs, analytics tools, crash reporters, or advertising frameworks. There is no Firebase, no Crashlytics, no Facebook SDK, no Amplitude — nothing. The app communicates only with Apple's StoreKit for subscription verification, which happens on-device.
Verity Cycle includes Lock Screen widgets that display cycle day and days until next period. This data is shared between the app and the widget through an App Group container on your device. No data is sent externally.
If you enable notifications, they are scheduled locally on your device using iOS notification framework. No notification data is sent to any server.
Verity Cycle is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Since no data is collected from any user, this applies universally.

Since all data is stored only on your device, you have full control at all times. You can delete all app data by deleting the app from your iPhone. You can export your data using the backup feature. No request to us is necessary because we hold none of your data.
If we update this policy, the revised version will be posted at this URL with an updated date. Since we collect no data, meaningful changes are unlikely.
