Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using PDF Tools: Merge & Compress ("the App"), developed by Verity Tools (Oleg Sazonov), Switzerland. By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. App Description

PDF Tools is a utility application that provides 12 tools for working with PDF files, including merging, splitting, compressing, rotating, deleting pages, converting images to PDF, exporting PDF to images, locking/unlocking PDFs, reordering pages, adding watermarks, adding page numbers, and extracting pages.

All PDF processing is performed entirely on your device using Apple's built-in frameworks. No files are uploaded to any server.

2. Free Tier

The App provides 10 free operations (lifetime limit). All 12 tools are accessible during the free tier. After the free operations are exhausted, a Pro subscription or lifetime purchase is required to continue using the App.

3. Subscriptions & In-App Purchases

PDF Tools offers the following plans:

Prices are in US Dollars and may vary by region. Actual prices will be displayed in your local currency at the time of purchase.

Auto-Renewable Subscriptions

Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
You can manage and cancel your subscriptions in your device Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
Any unused portion of a free trial period will be forfeited if you purchase a subscription before the trial expires.

Free Trial (Weekly Plan)

The Weekly plan includes a 3-day free trial. During the trial period, you have full access to all Pro features at no cost. If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid Weekly subscription at $1.49/week.

💡 To cancel: Open Settings on your device > tap your name (Apple ID) > Subscriptions > PDF Tools > Cancel Subscription.

Lifetime Purchase

The Lifetime option is a one-time, non-recurring purchase that permanently unlocks all Pro features. No subscription or recurring charges apply.

4. Intellectual Property

The App and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Verity Tools and are protected by international copyright and intellectual property laws.

5. Limitation of Liability

PDF Tools is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. Verity Tools shall not be liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the App. You are responsible for maintaining backups of your original PDF files before processing.

6. Apple's Standard EULA

In addition to these Terms, the use of PDF Tools is governed by Apple's Standard End User License Agreement (EULA) for apps available through the App Store. You can review Apple's EULA at: apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula

7. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
