Last updated: March 13, 2026
🔒 Compress does not collect, store, or share any personal data. Your files never leave your device.
Compress is designed with privacy as a core principle. The app does not collect any personal information, including but not limited to:
The Apple App Store Privacy Label for Compress is: "Data Not Collected."
All operations — photo compression, video compression, batch processing, and target size compression — are performed 100% on your device using Apple's built-in ImageIO and AVFoundation frameworks.
Your files are never uploaded to any server, cloud service, or third-party platform. Compress does not make any network connections to process your files.
Compress requests access to your photo library solely to read the photos and videos you select for compression, and to save compressed results back to your library. The app uses Apple's PHPickerViewController, which means you choose exactly which files to share — the app cannot browse your entire library without your permission.
Compress does not integrate any analytics frameworks, crash reporting tools, advertising SDKs, or tracking technologies. There are no third-party services embedded in the app.
Compress does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app. Simply open the app and start compressing.
Compress offers optional in-app purchases (subscriptions and a lifetime unlock) through Apple's StoreKit framework. All payment processing is handled entirely by Apple. Verity Tools does not have access to your payment information, credit card details, or Apple ID.
For information about how Apple handles your purchase data, please refer to Apple's Privacy Policy.
Compress does not knowingly collect any information from children. Since the app collects no data from any user, it is safe for users of all ages.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
